Our Best Friends Doggie Daycare is licensed and inspected by the Heath Department regularly. We also clean and disinfect daily and nightly, regardless of how many dogs we have.

Traditional kennels typically kennel your dog in a cage most of the day and may let them out briefly or they are an outside run part of the day. They are usually not supervised 24 hours a day.

The most important reason is safety. Intact dogs are at a greater risk of injury from other dogs. In a social environment, they are viewed as a threat by other dominant dogs. Intact females, whether in heat or not may be picked on by other females and males may be aggressive towards her. Some dog breeds suggest to wait one year before being Spayed or Neutered.

Although we do our best to avoid injury to your dog, they do get scratches, nicks, and easily treated small injuries. It is rare in the industry that more serious injuries occur. All injuries no matter how minor will be reported when you pick up your dog. Serious injuries would immediately be reported to you an will seek immediate medical attention.

Yes, we have room just for them. It gives them an opportunity to still be a dog and interact with other dogs. Sometimes theses dogs are left at home alone because we know they are low energy so forget that they need to socialization also!

We are in the works of a very special place to accompany specially older dogs that need just a little extra care!!

Although we have a large dog, medium dog, and small dog room, it will also depend on your dogs need. That is why during the assessment process we will see how your dog interacts with others and ask your questions about his/her needs. So don’t be surprised if the smallest dog has the biggest buddy.

Yes. Our day is broken up into areas of playing, walking, resting, feeding, and more. We always keep a watchful eye on our canines good manners.

Our Best Friends Doggie Daycare has plenty of chews, tennis balls, and other toys for everyone. All toys will be sanitized after use.

We have a team of very qualified individuals here at Our Best Friends Doggie Daycare. Our staff are trained in a full day Canine First Aid and CPR class. We also have a vet available for any foreseen emergencies.

Yes! We have staff that are in the rooms watching over your pups. We also have a surveillance service so you can watch your best friends from work or vacation. This service is available on Mac’s, PC’s, and some smartphones. Visit one of our locations to get the instructions on how to log on.

Our Best Friends Doggie Daycare always monitors the dogs’ behavior to try to avoid incidents. However, we are equipped with squirt bottles. The squirt bottles are used to startle the dogs we can get them to redirect their attention away from any incidences.

On your first day at OBF, we will obtain information on all aspects of your dog. Documentation of vaccination and spay/neuter certificates are required. We have a computerized reminder system for vaccination updates. We spot check every dog that comes to day care, for any signs of fleas. Flea prevention needs to be used on a consistent basis to protect all of our canine guests.

Yes. It will be on your Our Best Friends Doggie Daycare application. You can always stop by and pick up these materials.

During your dog’s behavior assessment, we will determine the rate at which your dog is ready for group play. We ease your dog into meeting all his/her new best friends slowly so we don’t overwhelm them. Only when we and your dog are comfortable, will the group play begin.

Dogs generally will drink a lot, eat, and then sleep through the night and into the next day.

The dogs tend to be generally “quiet” during play. Noise is kept to a minimum, for the dogs anyway. But sometimes the dogs like to “sing” with each other every once in a while.
